Time to leave this version in the past (actually it was time to leave it in the last 5 years ago, now it really time). I mean, it’s been 7 or 8 years now. So, time to upgrade, we have many new products to sell you that can improve your editing and make the transition from 7.5 to 12 go pretty smooth. Version 12 is so superior in functionality to 7.5 I don’t even know where to start.

    Couple of answers…

The updater link is now fixed. I typed a “u” instead of a “U”. Sorry about that.

Our next priority is Leopard, we hear you about XDCAM. We’re talking and planning but no news yet. We need support from Sony and that takes time.

QuickTime 7.3- We’ve had 1 report of it not working. We’ll test 7.3 with Leopard first, then with 11.6. I have no date on the Leopard release, we have some application items to fix and we are working AJA on a new OEM driver. We’re not expecting this to be a major engineering effort, so it shouldn’t take too long to release.

Are you trying to take a document from 11.5 back to 8.2.3? Media should go back, documents shouldn’t.

We’ve had a few calls on this in the past but we have never been able to reproduce this. How can I get in touch with you? Engineering would like to see a program and some media files.

    Thanks

Wrong forum, but I’m really where you could ask this. Best of luck.

QuickTime 7.1.3 is the last supported version of Media 100i. There has been issues reported with QuickTime 7.2 in general (not specific to Media 100i).

We will support Leopard very soon, but you’ll need to have Media 100 Version 12 or later (this will be for all models, Producer, HDX, HD Suite, SDe and HDe).

We will not release a Leopard compliant 11.x version or a Media 100i version.

Today’s the last day to take advantage of a $200 savings on Media 100 Version 12.

You didn’t say that you own Media 100 Producer? The codecs are installed when you purchase Media 100 Producer.

Media 100 will default to opening the last saved project. You must de-select the preference. With the preference deselected the last saved project will not open.
