Oh yes HDX will be supported, for sure. You will need Version 12.x but it will be supported.

There are many solutions to fit your needs starting with Media 100 Producer, we have many hardware based solutions too. Visit Media100.com for the available models and let me know when you are ready, I’ll have a product specialist call you with pricing. We try to accommodate our existing customers with preferred pricing if we can.

Thanks Floh. Leopard is on our radar. We have been working with Developer version, but it needs to be qualified. There are a few minor issues that will need to be addressed. We’ll support it as soon as possible. Couple of things… Media 100i will never support Leopard. If you are using Media 100i it’s simply time to move to a new version there has never been a better time to upgrade. Right now, we do not have plans to qualify anything but Version 12.x. on PPC and Intel.

OK, no snide comments about the Product Manager misspeaking about the missing Vout.

Thanks for the correction Softharbor, I guess I’m due for a vacation?

Just so we’re clear, the Vout feature is in the Version 12 product.

    Dear Holy,

No praying necessary. We had to re-write the V-out module because of the progressive support implementation. It’s being worked on right now. I don’t have a date for release but we hope shortly. FWIW- It is mentioned in the release notes, I know that does nothing to help you, but I wanted to mention it so you didn’t think we forgot about it.

No, the V12 Key will work. The new key you received for Producer will also just work, after the reinstall.

I think you be OK with DVC Pro with compression, but the Pro Res Codec requires a lot of horsepower with regard to processor and drive speeds.
