    Hi Larry,

The “HDx” hardware that you purchased is not obsolete. As you know when we introduced the HDx hardware we pretty much separated the software from the hardware. This allows us to continue to develop software features for your HDx hardware, as well as the AJA OEM hardware. For example, version 11 will allow you to take media and project documents back and forth from HDX and AJA OEM systems.

In the days after NAB you will see new platinum services rolled out for HDx and AJA OEM based systems.

So, your hardware/software is far from obsolete. You will see softwate features rolled out that will work on your system and we intend to introduce more features in the coming months.

There is now a patch for 10.2.1 at the support.media100.com site. This will patch the Media 100 sw 10.2 version for the Try and Buy and the CD versions.

Sorry for the confusion about this. We are also working on a “patch” for 10.2.1 Media 100 sw that will patch the try and buy and the CD install of 10.2. If this will be easier for you to install then wait a day or so and I will post it.

Thanks Warren, yes it is normal. If you get info on the installer it will state 8.2.3a.

We are finishing up an 8.2.3a version to fix this issue. This version will also fix the export to iPod problem that has been talked about. We expect to have this ready sometime this week.

    Hi,

We are looking into the AfterEffects and iPod issue. We now install the software codecs instead of the hardware codecs for Media 100 i 8.2.3. This is probably the reason why A/E is not seeing our V-out component, although we are still investigating why.
    I’ll post more information shortly.
