I work on both Final Cut Pro Studio 6 and my older Media 100i v.8 systems. Previously I worked flawlessly with M100 files in FCP using the Media 100 transcoder. However, I upgraded my FCP system to an Intel-based Mac Book Pro, and now I can no longer render the Media 100 files. Interestingly enough, I can see them in the program, but cannot change them, and get the error “Codec not found” when I try to render.

Is there any codec (existing or coming) for the Intel-based Mac systems, or has anyone else experienced this problem?

I really don’t want to have to go back into Media 100 and render out all the files in a different format, (argh).

You didn’t say that you own Media 100 Producer? The codecs are installed when you purchase Media 100 Producer.
