Actually I find if the transfroms are collapsed then it becomes a 2d layer and loses camera control. IT is big problem and i am trying to figure out how to handle it.

I use the wiggler applied to the opacity or a luma effect on a layer for flickering light (or on a comp light’s intensity for realism). I think it could also apply to your situation.
Seems like you are on the right track. Another option – lo-fi as it is – put a blur on the layer you want to defocus and apply the wiggler to that.

Scrap that. It is not -34. it is (34). I trashed my prefs, and it still did not work. Deadline is looming and I am kind of worried. Any hlep?

Yes, it is -34. But I have 184 G left on my drive, so I dont think it is that.

The audio that I am using are mov.s that were converted from mp3s. I tried it with aiff’s and had the same porblem. I upgraded to QT 7.1 and now it still has the error initialy, but once I turn off the visibility of the layer and then back on again, the problem disapears. So now it has gone from a major problem w/ QT 7 to an anoyance w/ QT 7.1. I just can not believe that apple can distirbute a product that si a major component for all apps creative, and is seriously flawed. Grrrrrrrrr.

Thanks for the advice, I think I will feel out both avenues. I really should get my corportae reel on my site, instead of just DVD. That would probaly show a bit more diversity for people who are pasively skimming sites.
