Are you hitting enter after the distortion? Photoshop won’t render the result until you commit to the changes so if you still have the transform box active your image will look very pixelated and crappy.

No, unlike Illustrator, once you move a file into another in Photoshop it becomes part of this new file and it is completely independent from he original.

Do all your Photoshop work in rgb, not only the files are smaller. In size you have access to more filters than in cmyk, plus you loose your adjustment layer whe. You move from one color space to another. Leave the cmyk conversion for the very end and always do it on a flattened copy.

As a matter of fact it is dissapearing because it is indeed scaling along with the text. I can’t remember right now if Photoshop offers a independent scaling option for the stroke as Illustrator does, which brings me to my sugestion, create your logo in Illustrator, scalit up or down in there with the scale strokes and effects option unchecked and then export it to Photoshop.

Nope, sorryto bring the bad news here butwheb you save your illustrator files to PDF you unchecked the “preserve illustrator capabilities” so now that the PDF is read back the files is somewhat broken, crosses and text broken into lines or every character change (i. e. different font sizes in one line) are clear indicators of this.

Are you sending from the same computer?
Have you checked which color profile you are using?
Also illustrator relies heAvily in postscript printing (I nthink Photoshop doesn’t but can’t be sure)
you can always move your files to Photoshop and print from there.Best,

You need to match the cmyl values of both files, one in Photoshop and the other in illustrator

You can wither trce over the stroke or click on object>path>outline stroke to convert the stroke into a white filled object, them just delete it and the space will remain
