Tom, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t unchecking the gpu is only available on CS5? If I can uncheck it on CS6 could you tell me where?

I have the latest update for element running on Snow Leopard and I haven’t been able to use it once, it always either crashes or displays an openGL error message

I can’t even open the project to delete the layers that have Element applied to them and continue working.

@ Todd, when you have AE comps dynamically linked the Link Media option is grayed out.
So… anyone knows how to do this? My original project crashed and I kept working on the auto saved version, which has a name mismatch.

    Best,

August 7, 2012 at 8:50 pm in reply to: Shift key flowchart reveal – CS6?

Same issue here, although sometimes it works, I have to tap it several times before it actually responds. When I open CS5 or CS5.5 it works at the first time.

Adobe, you really dropped the ball with CS6, it’s FLOODED with bugs all over the place, from not being able to copy from one comp/application to another, to the multiprocess render being completely disabled, this issue with the mini flowchart is just the cherry on the cake, since I upgraded to CS6 I spend more time finding workarounds to all your bugs than working.

Fix it NOW, it’s very frustrating to pay lot of money and receive a substandard product in return.

I reported several other bugs to your bug report form and so far NOTHING has been fixed, so what’s the point?

  • neither option sounds very appealing. I’ll try the numbers plug in instead.

    thanks!

  • Thanks Kevin, I guess that works for a short range like this one, but it defeats the purpose of using and expression and saving time with it, I can’t imagine doing this from 1000 to 12000, for example.
I’ll rework this one to this method.

    Best,
    David.

  • I have a similar issue on CS6, I hit 0 to create a RAM preview (with multiprocessing enabled) and if I switch to a different program in the meantime, the preview does not hold. When I get back to AE I need to re render, the only way to keep the preview is either to stay in AE while creating the preview or disabling multi processing.

I reported it to Adobe, waiting on a solution from them, but if anyone knows something helpful please share.

    Thanks.
    D.

I have the same issue, the .01 update didn’t fix it. It’s more evident on my laptop (8gb ram) than my desktop (32gb ram).

I already reported it to Adobe.

Thanks adam, this is very helpful.

I first need to find out if I have BodyPaint installed, back on R11 it was included with C4D, but I’m not sure if that’s the case with R13.

Can I access this UVW view from within C4D?

    Thanks again.

Hey Adam, didn’t know you were local, we should go grab a beer one day 🙂
