By package do you mean the creative source for the media or the hardware required to get it on the air so quickly?
The hardware is easy, it’s a video switcher being fed from a digital clip playout system like ClipBin. Real time processing of alpha requires big iron.

Isn’t more a question of attempting to move between slightly different color spaces than a “bug”? We are almost exclusively DV at my shop and do not experience this issue with FCP6+ and CS3.

No ideas, sorry. My solution to these things is to place some handles on the beginning and ending of comp. Give yourself some room in time, what you might call pre- and post-roll. If your start and end points are critical, try creating a copy of your comp (or using expressions so you don’t have to keep changing each copy every time you make minor tweaks) and setting the streaks to much lower values. In your editing app, you would make invisible transitions between the two movies from AE.

Naw, I told you that in response to one of your earlier posts: proprietary raw formats require processing in the camera’s supplied raw editor, Photoshop, Aperture, or Lightroom. I also suggested you could search for many of my earlier posts on timelapse and your would find some that include a long list of Web resources. I found all of them by simply googling timelapse and then spending a few hours sorting and reading the good ones.
Shooting time compression with a still camera is not at all difficult but like any technically demanding assignment, it does require some complex planning and anticipation.

Corey, if you haven’t shot the footage yet, you must not depend upon an application liike After Effects to handle makeup for you. Full-on CGI might be your only hope but you will need mo-cap to make the work practical.
You could use CC Sphere to wrap your tattoo thingy around a spherical shape and place it into a nested comp upstream but it’s not a true 3D object relative to your bald head. There’s no way to attach CC Sphere’s upstream xyz rotation parameters to the movement of your head for many reasons not the least of which the head is only 2D.

Use LiveType and crate a separate text item for each line so they are individually adjustable. Although your reference to real typography suggests you won’t enjoy using LT either, it has no kerning at all.
The Boris text tool (Outline Text) you have in FCP are far more complex but infinitely more adjustable.
