The OMF (autoducks 5.10 exporter) does not like any of the audio from this source.

It exports all kinds of other stuff, music, etc. But nothiing attached to clips or broken apart from clips.

    Weirdness.

Trying the option copy now on the event now.

Rendered Prores files from RED Source.

    The audio is there.

I see it. I hear it.

Just when I broke apart the clips the RED file names were lost as well.

    I wish I could re-import the media.

You can get the mac versions of the AVID CODECS and you can use Compressor as the batch transcoder.

[David Roth Weiss] “The “big” question I’d like to pose to all FCPX debaters at this point in time is this, is FCPX really worth all the “high drama” that Apple set in motion throughout the industry since it took over the big SuperMeet at NAB in April? “

Short term paoin. Long term gain.

FCP X had to happen sooner or later and it was not going to be pretty. IE OSX 9 OSX. In the long term I think it is a better piece of modern software built to work with the new OS and hardware.

    Divorce is never easy.

  • All of those tears shed.

    All the dsbelief.

All the shit thrown at Apple.

Yet, things just start to happen and people are using a new great tool.

It’s just the idea that one piece of functionality costs almost twice the price of the entire Application.

Wes can charge what he wants and he should charge what it is worth.

    Yes.

One has to wonder about volume over price point at some point. If you could add this for 29$ then I think many people might go for it.

But I wonder how many have sold at the 495 price point.

    Strange.

The GUI yrend seems to be one window with 18% grey interfaces that can be viewed for a long tome without a lot of eye strain.

Perhaps you might have run all the clips through compressor to retune them (optical flow is built in to compressor) and the just used the new media in your edit.

FCP would then have no processing to do while editing.

Is you sequence set to stereo or surround?

That may affect the stereo/dual mono clips. If it’s surround then you might want to switch it to stereo.
