So it looks like they are pleasing the Large user base, reality tv show crowd with these updates as they are the ones who would use multicam the most.

You can trash preferences OR you can delete the POA cache directly from the root level of the hard disk.
That might do it.

What is the system config?
I find this is almost always due to not enough RAM or never shutting down the machiine.

I would stick with the Dual 2.7.
Until Apple really unviels it’s plans for this market. (could it be that they will be going with dual core for High end video, phot customers and sticking the intel into the laptop and lower end market????)
We know that the dual 2.7 is solid, it works, it is very reliable. Go with what is road tested. I always wait for teh second gen of a new product from Apple.

I have run the other updates But I would not recomend running the QT. It is working well with QT 7.0.1

This is just the kind of thing that gets people to revert toSONY products. Panasonic has some great products, but their idea’s for workflow are sometimes a bit ou to lunch.
It’s the same story with P2. When HD XD CAM is release with 45 dollar blue laser media and variable frame rates at NAB next year, Panny will again be relegated to scratching their heads and selling to students.
The pro market needs pro solutions. This kind of thing that Walter is talking about is typical of panny.

You shouldn’t really be considering anything but the larger cables with the big knob, as the big knob probably requires larger ohms, for sure.
The big knob likes the 110Ohm cables. let’s face it, if you’re gonna invest in the Big knob, get the most out of it with the best cables that can handle the load coming of the big knob.
