I have had this happen to me. Please go into your AV settings and go to the AV devices tab.
There is a checkbox in there that says “different output on on edit to tape/print to video. Make sure this is not check and that your output device is APPLE FIREWIRE (720×480) and FIREWIRE DV.

this has been a good thread. There is only one other thing I can think of. I can tell you that one thing that will cause freeze ups in NETWORK ACTIVITY. I have found that if there are programs running in the background that are using the network you can run into problems when capturing or playing back.
Is anyone accessing the drives on a network? Is your file sharing on?
The only time I have seen things like this is when I have had software update runnig in the BG or soemthing during an output.
Besides this you are getting awful performance out of your raid if it is running at 70mb/sec.
My Huge 4210 Drive full populared in a raid 3 with 4gig fiber gets close to 480-520 read writes. So something is most definitely wong with the RAID card/setup.

I would try to double check all of the settings in the control panle. I am pretty sure the LHe does 720P HD downconverts like the KONA 2 but I do not know how the control panle looks compared to the KONA 2 control panel. I asume it is very similar because the I/O one is very similar as well.
Double check the easy setup and the Control panel op’s

WHy would you put a DVCPRO signal back to the camera before going to betacam tape. This makes no sense at all.
Why would you not lay off you FCP timeline to betcam tape?

worked closely with JVC to develop this camera for a very specific tape to film workflow. I have seen uncolor corrected footage straight from the camera to 35mm and it looked very good. I saw this test about four months ago. I think that they used lumiere and wrote it to film with a proprietatry algorythm. Soembody there might give you excellent advice on your workflow.

I am sorry for incorrectly referring to you as a reseller. It seems from your posts that you have experience with many product lines (that’s where I was coming from).

Nobody minds offering advice about the AJA products but I was just saying that more often than not these types of threads turn into bashing.What I said about AJA earlier goes. I have seen the Decklink HD and Mulitbridge work and I know many people who are very happy with their products, but I also know a reseller who says that when there is a problem, things do not happen as quickly as they would with AJA. That is not to say that they do not both make good products.

What slots are your cards in?
Maybe you could put the ATTo in Slot 4 and the LH in 1 2 or 3.
It sounds like a card/drive throughport issue to me.
