  • David, thanks for your reply. The minimal information posted on the website doesn’t tell me anything except what size and formats of video they will accept. I will heed your advice and see what happens.
This website video stuff is pretty new to me so I’m trying to get a handle on it.

    Thanks again.

    Thanks

  • I need to be able to move the circle or oval around to track the player, what do I do when it moves to the point where the edge of the affect is now in the frame?

    Thanks

  • Hi Steve, that does help. Im just not used to seeing one view in Vegas preview and a differently cropped view on my monitor. I’ll give it a try.
    Thanks.

    Thanks

Douglas, thanks a million for taking the time to make it so I couldn’t make the settings wrong! Your screenshot is awesome. I made a file last night with the standard settings and I will make one this morining with your suggested settings & compare. The whole “bandwidth” thing is new to me. I guess I need to start learning more about it. Do you have any sugested reads on where I can learn more about setting up video files for the internet? Have a great day & thanks again.

    Thanks

Hi Douglas, Im kind of new at this so bear with me. Should I use Mainconcept mp4 or Sony mp4? When I go to either of those I do not see where I can change to the settings you have suggested. I’m looking under the custom tab under video & audio & I’m not sure what to change.

    Thanks

Hi Terry, Also doing football I have had the same problems rendering nested files. Obviously it’s not the subject matter (football), but I never got the problem figured out. I ended up rendering to avi then placing all those avi’s into a Vegas build and rendering. Not what I wanted to do, but the problem of time was also an issue for me. Hopefully someone can shed more light on this matter. (Vegas 7).

    Thanks

The problem was my Canopus ADVC110! I guess because it’s on the firewire circuit it was causing the conflict. Thanks for all the suggestions & help.

    Have a great weekend.

    Thanks

John, thanks so much for the info. If I can get the camera (and the manual) hopefully I can pull this off!

Thanks for your quick response. If I can get the camera that shot the video, can I capture the video into Vegas 7 in the SD format?

    Thanks

    Hi Joe,

Even though this is an old posting, your information is right on. For those of you that may read this thread, be aware that these crooks really do exist.

    Thanks
