We have the same problem and have reported this to Boris a lonnnng time ago.

I am very happy with our LHe card but I haven’t noticed much of a difference before and after.

Select all the clips in your sequence and got to the Modify menu/Label and label all the clips a color of your chose. Look through your bins and you will see the clips you have used with the same color.

you can select which disks to search for the media in 5.1 (maybe earlier too)
There is also the option to always reconnect offline media

Cool thanks, one more question. Can you down convert the HD files to DV with the transfer software or is there a setting in the camera that will do this?
