one more question? Is there a way to stop the XDCAM transfer software from importing the proxy files?

thanks for the info. I have 5.1 on cross grade order but my client bumped the XDCAM edit up by a week.

Yes it does but it sometimes brings in two clips from the same media file. They are the same but only one is selectable.

Yes the menu is there in 5.04.

Great news since we just bought an XDCAM HD 330 and want to shoot with the 35Mbit VBR MPEG HD. Now (soon) we can transfer the files at 35Mbit, Sweet!

I got my 330 last Wednesday and have been happy so far. Have not posted anything yet.
