I have downloaded the driver software from sony.com/XDCAM but am unable to mount the image to my desktop. I get an error message that says the disk image is not recognized. I have no problems mounting any other disk images. I have gotten the file from two seperate sources and had the same problem. Can anyone suggest a solution?

    Thanks in advance.

I haven’t been able to mount the file, but I did find another copy of the file at Sony Europes web site here:

    https://www.sonybiz.net/xdcam

You have to sign up for an account to download. Click on the camera link near the bottom then click support information.

Further info: I got an e-mail from Sony saying that the file on their site is known corrupted, and they are going to replace it.
