Will everything be fixed in RED 4 for FCP?
An ongoing problem with changing font size and color has been happening in RED 3. I highlight the text I want to change and sometimes everything will change, even what’s not highlighted.

That is because text controls in the Control window such as font, size, fill color or stroke are not selection based. They always apply to the entire text object. However, notice that these parameters are animatable over time (see interpolation boxes next to sliders). In contrast the text style parameters displayed in the Text window are selection based but not animatable (hence no interpolation boxes). Choose these depending on the effect you are trying to achive.

I should have stated that that’s what I’m talking about, selecting text in the “text window”. I can select a word or row and change it’s size but sometimes it changes everything. Why does it change the words that are not selected?

RED 4 should be here tomorrow. I’m looking forward to seeing if this is fixed or not. Fingers are crossed.
Then it’s the wait for the Mac Pro version. What was the Ketchup commercial? Anticipation…….

I downloaded 4 as a trial but haven’t had a chance to test it.
