  • Hi Darren,

That’s the way I have do it numerous times. works well and gives good options to zoom etc. Just watch out for the ‘scale to sequence’ settings on the clips you want to zoom!

  • Hi Christine.

There is an effect in the audio effects section called ‘fill left’ and ‘fill right’
apply this to your clip to fill the respective audio channel with the other.
It’s a bit confusing and should have been called ‘fill with left’ for example if i want the left channel only to be heard I use fill left and vice versa.

You can apply this to the audio in your original multi clip sequence or else just keep editing away and apply it to all clips in your audio track later on.

    Hope that helps

    Hi Doug.
    Definitely seeing this aswell.
Restart helps but only a little and as the project gets more complex it helps less and less.
Inspector closed makes little difference, and I need it open most of the time to adjust things.
Anyway, the opening and closing of it is also slow.
Opening fx panel is painfully slow, as is any editing operation.
    Makes working in fcpx difficult.

I have found that the more titles or motion templates are used has a big effect on stickiness, even if they are rendered in the timeline.

    Hope this gets addressed soon.

    Hi,

I have had the same problem before, although not on hackintosh but on windows 7.
I had bought 3 different BMD deck link cards and one of them (mini monitor) just didn’t show up no matter what.
I returned it and got a new one from the supplier and it showed up immediately as it should.

I’d say its a hardware problem.
    Hope that helps

I can confirm that this works quite well.

I used to use premiere to feed VTs into our Black Magic Atem but have used FCPX 10.1 on 2 gigs so far and it went off without a hitch. I didn’t render out a master file but played straight from a rendered project. We had roughly 30 minutes of content for each event.

This is possible in the new premiere cc.
It works just like fcp used to, you can increase clip gain by increments with a keyboard shortcut.

  • I have used clip wrap in this exact situation before.
It read mts files from an AVCHD camera that nothing else would accept

    Hi Tom,
We don’t have freeze frame or countdown. Resolume is super responsive and plays back immediately so we can rely on human touch.
Basically one person operates the switcher with one hand and triggers the VT or graphics with the other, low budget Guerrilla Style.
For some productions we use animated graphics that hold on out (This is set on resolute) so we create dynamic overlays this way. The next graphic element would then have the same in point so when triggered appears completely seamless.

Has worked for us so far.
