I have had the same issues using the linux and mac versions.
I do a restart and sometime a full reboot to clean up the problem.
I try to stick with .dpx or .cin frames on the resolve.
The program was written for dpx / frame based files. It likes them best.
If I need real time playback I convert everything to dpx and put it on my fast fibre.A few things that might cause this..
-Auto cache. On home system I have done this a few times. I hit the keyboard short cut and did
not realized it. It will be slow until the cached frames have written. (cache converts to dpx
frames) If your cache is not mapped to your fast stroage it will also cause it to run slow.dwooldridge@mac.com

I’d like to see it in action.. I graded my last 3d project on the panasonic vt25.
For 3D I have been using:
The christie 2k projection with real D for DI film out work and the Panasonic V25 for rec 709 hd mastering.Darin Wooldridge

December 5, 2010 at 10:06 pm in reply to: Logitech G13 users – gather around pleaseNice work everyone.. I stumbled on the g13 while playing with scratch last year..
In Sept I plugged her into the resolve.. Nice time saver for sure..
I still haven’t had the time to map all the functions that are not on the keyboard.. Were missing quite a few key tools using the wave panel and keyboard shortcuts. Thats my next step..Unless my friends at black magic want to let me demo the real panels for a year or two… 🙂
On scratch we hooked up 3 g13 and 3 kingston trackballs to simulated a full panel.
It worked!!If I had the time and extra money I would love to build a one off set of custom panels..

The g13 is in, just not in the pic.. Now that I have the shortcut sheet I’m going to start programing the g13. I’m having a little trouble jumping from the real resolve panels, 2k, wave and keyboard. Getting a little slow in my old age. lol.

Margus,
For now I’m am running the hdmi output to the 42″ panasonic pro plasma, sdi to the touch screen scopes, sdi to a sony crt and sony pro lcd. I use may monitors for proof of concept on different monitoring devices. As you know things are changing fast..
When it hits the living room it will also have a projector and samsung led in the mix.Best,

I think this is a workflow thing. Try this.
Increase the preserve source directory button and add a cc_render directory to the path..
It will then keep them all in the source file structure inside the new cc_render directory.
No overwrite will happen.. FCP should work if you relink to this new folder.Best,

Yes I have done 29.97 broadcast work.. It took some testing and time getting the settings all worked out.
Does the conform from edl work and give you a correct time line?
When rendering give this a try.
On the render page select: use prefix, suffix, no. of digits from source.Darin Wooldridge
