My home studio.
Now that its all working great.
its time to tear it all apart. I am started the plans for a home theater / grading suite. Moving out of the little spare bedroom and taking over the living room.. Adding projection booth/ color booth and machine room to the mix. If my wife doesn’t kill me my home movies are going to look killer..Darin Wooldridge

For now I’m am running the hdmi output to the 42″ panasonic pro plasma, sdi to the touch screen scopes, sdi to a sony crt and sony pro lcd. I use may monitors for proof of concept on different monitoring devices. As you know things are changing fast..
When it hits the living room it will also have a projector and samsung led in the mix.Best,

What projector are you looking at getting? I have been looking at the Samsung Joe Kane stuff. Nice for rec709. I dont think you can find a p3 projector in the same price range.

Dont calibrates your balls off.
We are running a RS25 in 709 and its fine.
you are looking at 8 k here and the only thing you need to get right is the white point to match P3.
But I really cross my fingers for your social well beeing 😉
It looks great in that spare bedroom…in the living room, even I would kill you.
By the way, you are missing the G13…its the bomb -
The g13 is in, just not in the pic.. Now that I have the shortcut sheet I’m going to start programing the g13. I’m having a little trouble jumping from the real resolve panels, 2k, wave and keyboard. Getting a little slow in my old age. lol.
