The audio will be 48k. You cannot use the Intensity Pro as an audio only interface. It is a video capture device.

I gather they will be using FCP. It will capture from the DV deck or camera with your tape as FCP normally captures DV. No compatibility issues. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

HDV tapes are the same size and you can print back to tape with it on a 720p HDV camera. JVC HDV camcorders and decks captures HDV at 720p so you should use one to print to tape. What camera did the original files come from? Can you use the same camera?

You also have some arrows at the right of the timeline to increase or decrease the highth of the tracks in the timeline.

Have you loaded any codec packs? I would use system restore to a time when they did work in vegas.

Google royalty free music. There are site to buy some, software to make some and some site with small clips. If your not playing this home movie anywhere but home and not making any money from it, you can use any music you want, since nobody will know and you made no money to sue you for.

When you transfer to tape, I believe it has to be the same format that came off the tape. If your custom templates change that, it won’t work.

Select both the video and audio events you want grouped on the timeline using the alt key, and hit the “G” key for group. “U” key will ungroup them. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

I just verified it works with two machines with Pro 10. I had to show hidden folders on one of them in order to find the folder to copy the preset too. I have Pro 9c on the machine I copied the preset to and it shows up in Pro 9c too. Both are 64 bit. I made a .wmv preset and saved it on one, then copied it to the folder starting with wmv in the file templates folder. Are you sure you copied it to the right folder. I can’t imagine this would be backwards compatible and not forward.
