Rendering in Vegas and printing back to tape
Hi Folks:
Here is the issue and something I have never done before. I learned the print to tape feature in Vegas which is Fantastic! When reviewing the copy tape I printed from Vegas it looks as crisp as the original tape.
Now the specific question. I want to then send the printed tapes to a company that only uses MAC. Will the printed/copy mini-DV tape upload to MAC via an i-link cable without difficulty? Will my customer be then able to work with the footage with no PC/MAC compatibility issues?

I gather they will be using FCP. It will capture from the DV deck or camera with your tape as FCP normally captures DV. No compatibility issues. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
