Try double clicking the seam between the events to turn on and off split screen, and use the [ and ] key to move your edit points.

Here’s some links to a free program called GoPro Studio. It analyzes each frame and creats new frames to make your slow motion 30 fps still look smooth.

You can do this within Vegas itself but it may take some time for the first ones. You can use media generator and make color bar backgrounds and overlaying text like in your posted pics. Then just delete any audio and video media from the project and save it as a .veg file with the name template in it so you know which is which. Just open the new .veg with all the generated media tracks, placement and size still there and add new media and edit the text if needed. All the hard work will still be there.

When you save a .veg file, you have the option to save media with it, and another option to keep only the used parts of source media with 2 second tails. You can do this and then delete the original source media.

Steve, I don’t believe Vegas is getting that far in his case.The .veg file should still open without an “unsupported” error. Only after it opens does it look for the associated files and re linking them. I believe the .veg files he’s trying to open are corrupt. That’s why I’d like to have just one of the .veg files he can’t open with 12 or 13.

Just tried the file with Sony Vegas 13 Build (290) and it locks up.

I’ve had issues with opening a .veg with an older version of Vegas but not newer ones. can you upload the .veg file? I don’t need the media to find out what versions I can open the file with.

Hello guys. I tried dropping it into Vegas 12 build (367) and it works perfect. It even plays with preview set to best full, not seeing every frame but totally usable. This is on a Sony I7 laptop. The media tab shows the file is 25 FPS. I did import it into a new instance of Vegas and when I dragged to the timeline I clicked yes to match project settings to file.But,, when I use Gspot to analyze the file, it shows it’s 50 FPS. Not sure why that is.

Actually John, People are doing this on a PC. I have done it on my Mac mini I7 but I haven’t tried it on a PC yet. Here’s a link explaining how to do it on a PC.
