Have you tried normalizing and or compressing the audio right in Vegas? Right click the audio event, switch, normalize, or add a compressor as an effect. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

If it’s not important that’s it’s HD, most cameras have the ability to down convert to DV, which is 720 x 480 .avi when capturing from tape to your computer. I would try changing the extention from m2t to mpg and try it again. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

If you emptied your recycle bin, you can see if there’s a restore point where you still had it. Or you can recapture it from the tape via the camera.

Use media generator to make a black track, put it on the bottom track, and track motion all the other tracks. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

you can take a snap shot of the frame you want to wait on, split the track, move data over and insert the still and stretch to fit. the envelope is better though.

both side still have all the data remember, you could delete the one side, drag the edge of the remaining side over and resplit.

I’m sure there another way, not at a computer with Vegas on it right now. Copy atributes or put all tracks in one folder and put the envelope on the folder.put the envelope on the master track?
