It’ll probably just double up on each frame. What format are you rendering to at 60fps? mpg2, 720p60 and wmv 1080p60 are the only two I can find in Vegas Pro 9.

If you still get the same results with your preview window set to best full, Then try a different format to capture too. DVIX and XVID codecs have been know to have problems working in Vegas. Can you capture to avi or mpeg?

It looks like your dropping frames. If it’s happening without capturing, connect your source directly to an HDTV and see if it’s happening. The shuttle handles the video as uncompressed no matter how it’s captured, so it can be a bandwidth issue.

You can place the video on the timeline, drag the edges to make it only the part you want, double click on the video event in the timeline to set loop points, then go to file, render as, select a format with the same resolution as the original to retain the quality and make sure render looped point is checked. This will make a new video of just the part you selected. Hope this helps,

I gather the MXF files didn’t come from the camera you got with Vegas Movie Studio 10 as I don’t believe they would bundle the two together if you couldn’t open the files from the camera with it. MXF is just a container than have different types of files in it. I found a free utility to unwrap them for editing purposes.

Try using the Chromakey pluggin, use the eye dropper and select the white background to key it out. Play with it’s limited three sliders to make the white transparent. FYI, if there’s white in the logo, it’ll key that out too. Also make sure the logo video is on a track above the background video in the timeline. Let us know if this works for yu. Danny Hays

m2ts files are HD I believe. try setting your project to that HD setting, edit and then rendering to SD wide screen. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

Is the file used a .m2t 1440 x 1080i file?
