Is your camera tapeless? If so just plug it in via usb and it should show up as a hard drive, just copy the files to your hard drive.

You must mean the TM700, 1080 60p. You can make custom project settings as well as .MP4 and .WMV renders to accomidate the 60p (59.94) and play them with an i7 computer. I do it all the time. Well, since I got the TM700. There are no project settings presets or render presets for that framerate. You have to type it in manually. Danny Hays

What are you rendering it too for Youtube? Have you tried Sony AVC (.mp4.m2ts.avc) then select a template with the same resolution and framerate as your source file? Let us know how this works for you.

Make sure your Preferences/General/Enable no-recompress long-GOP rendering is checked. Let us know if this works for you. Danny Hays

I believe 4K files are Frame sequences with .DPX, targa files, not streaming video. They show up as a folder with these type of pictures with a Wave file and a file that tells the editing or playback program what to do with those pics. DVX is a very high end server that uses 2K and 4K in these formats. Sony Vegas Pro 9 and 10 support 2K and 4K.

Are the files 1080i or 1080 60p? I have a Panasonic TM700 that will capture 1080 60p in the .MTS format. Unfortunatly Macs won’t let you import these files, Macs don’t have USB 3 yet either. CS5 After Effects and Sony Vegas pro 9 on Windows 7 support the 1080 60p with custom settings. Also Windows will support the new USB 3 cards. My Mac died recently and until Apple comes up to speed with these importand features, I won’t be replacing it.

Did you uninstall the 3.9.1 drivers first? I would do that with the card not in, delete the Blackmagic folder in your program files directory, Then start over with the drivers that you had it working with. Hope this helps, Danny Hays

.WMV does take longer to render than MP4 for example. Why don’t you try rendering to Sony AVC, 1280 x 720, Drop down the AVC and select mp4 and choose best in the project tab. This will look good and render alot faster and the file size will be smaller.

I would try installing the newest ver of direct X.

Uncompressed or Sony YUV avi is a good format if you may need to edit them again in the future, and most every NLE can use them. Danny Hays
