    HI Phillip,

At the moment you would have to transcode the ProRes files to something like DPX, Uncompressed Quicktime, Open EXR, Tiff.

One option is to use your Mac Resolve system to transcode the files to DPX, if you are on a MacPro with a Nvidia card this should be real time.

    Thanks

February 25, 2011 at 5:49 pm in reply to: Move stills to different stills pages

The easiest way to do this is on the Gallery page.

You can access the stills you need to move from the project list on the top and then drag them into the page you need on the bottom.

Just make sure you hold shift the hole time or Resolve wont take the entire group.

    Hope this helps!

February 24, 2011 at 2:33 pm in reply to: session render behaves strangely and MEMEORY A-Z slots

    Hi Andy,

Those shortcuts are mainly intended for the Resolve Control Surface as there is dedicated memory keys for all of those slots.

You can use them if you need to by dragging grades into it and you can use the middle mouse button to load the grade from any still/memory or even another shot on the timeline.

For the menu render you could try cmd R to bring it up ?

I use that all the time and have had no issues with the Render page.

    Hope this helps!

If you right click on any clips with a red line at the top and click batch unlink that will break the link for all clips associated with that file.

Hopefully a little bit quicker than making new versions every time!

    Hope this helps

You could try making a group?

Select all the shots on the timeline.

Right Click and select add into new group

A red outline should appear on the timeline thumbnails

    Make your PTZR change

Select all the clips again and select remove from group.

Should only take a couple of seconds to do!

    Hope this helps

The offset controls which you can find on GUI/Tangent Wave do the same job as the printer lights by moving the whole color channel.

    Hope this helps!

I like to do it this way if i’m feeling a bit lazy..it can take some time if you have a huge storage system but as I only use a local raid at the moment its perfect. You can right click on the top layer of your storage and say add all folders and sub folders based on EDL.

It will then search your whole mounted storage and just grab the files it needs.

It’s pretty cool and works great for me!

Try batch copy instead of batch unlink. This should break the link but Also keep the grade.

If not just attach the grade to a keyboard memory. Unlink your clips and then use the memory to reapply the grade

It is possible, I find when new cards are released it takes a couple of weeks / months for them to get the best performance from the card so i’d always try and keep your CUDA and Nvidia drivers up to date.

Could you try installing this driver ?

This should get it up and running for you!
