There are NO audio mixer control protocols available for Premiere Pro as far as I know! I have a Tascam FW-1082 that works with FCP. I have submitted a feature request to Adobe and commented about this omission numerous times on this forum. This is the one feature that is a PPro show stopper IMHO.
It’s probably an installed codec issue with the leaked CS6 version. I can open SD DV projects in PP6 but not HD ProRez projects. All the presets are missing also. Won’t stop me from legally upgrading when it is released.
The fat lady ain’t singing till Adobe adds an audio mixer control protocol for PPro comparable to FCP! Yes, I’ve submitted a request. Apology for not being PC!
A local Swit dealer said they were the same monitor, just repackaged but the Swit distributor said they were not. Guess I’ll save up for a TVLogic or Sony OLED.
I too was interested in purchasing one. Called the Canadian distributor for a dealer contact to see one but they never got back to me! Guess Swit is not interested in selling anything! Now I’ll have to find a JVC DT-X71H or Ikan VX7e to demo.
I’ve upgraded twice and encountered no problems. I recommend you fully remove the shoulder pad to access the USB port and follow the instructions closely.
Fine for you, but now I’ll have to wait for CS 6 and pay for the upgrade! Adobe, just fix the bugs so that it’s as good as FCP and don’t charge us for it!
