THE ANSWER (for me at least): Mute all audio tracks in the nested sequence that you don’t to use. Only leave unmuted the audio you wish to use. But do NOT solo anything in the nest! Soloing audio in nested sequences prohibits waveforms from showing in Premiere, for some reason – at least I see this happening everyday on our computers at work.

I had the same abysmall issue. Made a 10 minute short film with stems from Pro Tools – one for left channel and the other for right channel. No crackles in the raw audio, but tons of weird little pops all over the export. Tried ProRes and h264.
One thing that fixed it for me was making sure the export was actually playing stereo. My settings were set to stereo, but I forgot to adjust the pan on the stems. After doing that, the pops in the audio went away. Hope this helps some people.

No, I haven’t. But instead, I went back to one of my autosave projects, and it seems to working fine. At any rate, thanks for the tip. Ken If it happens again with this project file, I’ll give that a try, just to see.

I’m in the same boat, but with a couple other peculiarities. When I close my project and reopen, my media is online. But, after a few minutes editing, all my video goes offline. Audio remains linked. Link media option is greyed out. I tried making all the media offline and relinking, but that didn’t work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC, but that didn’t help either. Repaired disc permissions – that didn’t do diddly. Not sure what’s causing this problem.

Film Production – Editing emphasis -
I’ve been getting the same problem for quite some time. Since Davinci Resolve 9 Lite came out, I’ve been using it to make small proxy files of big AppleProRes4444 Log C clips, but the program crashes after rendering about 10 or so clips and I get this message:
“Failed to create directory ‘/Users/ryankahm/Desktop/Video
Folders to
Archive/CacheClip/audio/VolumesBParchive3/MASTER FOOTAGE/A CAM/Reel_249/A249R1U3”I haven’t seen much documentation on this issue, at least something with a pragmatic answer. Anyone know how to fix it?
