Problems relinking media
I looked through the forums and didn’t see this problem posted before…
A bunch of my material has gone offline in a PP project, even though I haven’t touched the footage or drives. Some of it won’t allow me to relink (the link media option is greyed out), and when I can relink the footage, it sometimes gives me the wrong footage, not the files I’m pointing it to. Short of reimporting and re-editing, I’m stumped. I am on a Mac i5 in Premiere Pro CC. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. NOTE: these are all merged clips.

If the Link option is greyed out, Pr thinks the media is online. You will have to select it and make off-line, then try to relink.
Have you tried to turn off GPU acceleration?– No Parking Production –

I’m in the same boat, but with a couple other peculiarities. When I close my project and reopen, my media is online. But, after a few minutes editing, all my video goes offline. Audio remains linked. Link media option is greyed out. I tried making all the media offline and relinking, but that didn’t work. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling CC, but that didn’t help either. Repaired disc permissions – that didn’t do diddly. Not sure what’s causing this problem.
