    I don’t know Bob. When I started in Tv, in 1978 as well, I was making 125$ a week out in “The Boonies” where a livable apartment could be had for 200$ a month all in.

    Now kids starting out mostly make 0$ as unpaid interns (slaves)so I’m not sure you should be surprised by the wages now relative to where you started.

    Awesome video but the audio is particularly amazing. Could you share what settings you used for the audio with your flash.

    Thanks;

    Thank you Walter. And by the way I for one have found your input here invaluable and don’t at all mind you going “off-topic” as has been said to you. (innacurately I feel)

    The original question was answered immediately so I don’t see a problem.

    Thanks , once again, for your input and your prompt reply to my request for clarification.

    By the way the 2 software options I am looking at are DVDit ProHD and
    possibly even (omg)Pinnacle Studio Plus. Does anyone have any experience with these?

    Walter I am sorry to bother you but as someone who is just starting to poke at the Blu-Ray bear you comments and posts have me confused.

    When you blogged about the three documentaries shown at the Carter Center you rconclusion was “BluRay self-publishing is here and it works”.

    Now here you are lamenting how much the final product has disappointed your customers. Is it possible you might expand on exactly where you sit at this moment in regards to Encore or whether we should be looking for other software solutions.

    Thanks;

    August 7, 2008 at 12:51 am in reply to: HD files through the internet…

    I recently had to send a 10gb file over the internet to an end user.
    Our transfer kept getting cut off so we split the file into 10 pieces then re-assembled them on the other end. There is lots of free software on the internet that does a great job on this. Still a lot of time but a lot less in the way of problems.

    By the way my friend sends files much larger than this through a contact who has access to a T1 connection. I don’t really know if this has any real bearing on your situation because you are sending to so many individuals but I thought I might mention it. Good Luck
