Indiana Jones style map travel route
Posted by Edward Vinson on August 8, 2008 at 3:27 amIs there a way, using Vegas Movie Studio v8, to make the red line on a map that shows the route of travel, sort of like the Indiana Jones movies?

August 8, 2008 at 2:29 pmAnother way to do this is to create a series of still images of your map with the line progressing from image to image. Then in the editing tap of Preferences, set the still image length to about 1/10th of a second and add all the images. you can vary the speed of the line’s progression by varying the still image length.
A really quick and dirty way to accomplish this is to have one image with no line and one image with your entire line on it and then use a linear wipe transition between the two.
