What I do is… (after I have created a Pro Titler effect)
In Vegas, use CTRL mouse drag your generated media left or right. Vegas asks if you want a copy or a reference. Just say copy. Then edit the generated media and change the text. So you should have the exact same text, font and effect in it.

The only problem I had opening Vegas 6 projects in Vedas 8 was the “media Generated” stuff like Boris did’nt load. I opened Vegas 6 and removed the media generated stuff from the time line, “saved as” something else and Vegas 8 open it.

I have installed DVDA 4.5a and still no external preview device. Doubled checked help about, DVDA 4.5a did indeed update.

I have vids that I want to make into a DVD compilation. I have created a 20 second avi clip for the menu background and now need a 20 second audio clip as a background loop. So what you are saying is that I need to do the clip with audio in Vegas then bring it into DVDA? I am used to Pinnacle Studio where one can import an MP3 and trim it in the DVD menu system. But thanks for the help so far.

Yes Thanks, I did load defaults and it’s repaired now. This happended when I was moving the windows around then the TAB’s went.

I first started with Pinnacle Studio. Then play’d around with Vegas 6 then 7, I’m now waiting for Vegas pro 8. Vegas has everthing you need now since having added a titler.

The new PI view is exactly what you need to browse your emitter libraries. If you’re like me who sorted the libraries into types like “Fire”, “water” etc then finding a certain emitter can sometimes take some time since there must be well over 1800 emitters by now. You can search for any emitter and then view them in the same window. In PI View you can then toggle “deflectors”, “motion blu” and a heap of other valuable options.

Hi All,
I am rendering to MP4 for cellphone viewing but the audio does not play or is just a series of high pitch squeaks. The MP4 size 177×130 but I’m not sure what audio setting to use, any help?
