    Thanks for the quick reply.

Does registration and licensing take place on the web? If so then the second authorisation might be denied. Is that correct?

Sometimes your project gets corrupted then you will get crashes. After re-creating it from scratch will usually fix it.

Also you may want to reset your settings by: “Start”-“All programs”-“Particleillusion 3.0”-“reset default settings”

Yea, but we would pay good money for that one. Besides who could refrain themselves from over using such an emitter?

I think a great theme would be “eye” emitters or overlays. Imagine a blink, glare, tears or even reflections…. hmmm.

Hyper threading is turned on or off in your CMOS configuration when the PC first switches on. Essentially it splits the CPU usage into 2 parts. It also splits your PC memory into 2 parts. So that you would have 2 CPU

There is a great utility called ENDITALL that I always run before doing editing. This kiils all backgroud apps like antivirus, printer agents and so on. Just a warning, if you ENDITALL by killing all background apps and enter the Internet you might just get a virus.

Your performance issue might also be your render-temp files which should be on a diffrent drive and not on the same drive as your Windows default pagefile which usually is your C drive.

Tell me something, have you got your “Hyper Threading” on or off?
