Particle Illusion not running.
Hello,
How are you people, I have a big problem, my Particle Illusion was running fine till yesterday, with no reason today, I had tried to run the program but does not respond, I not see anything on the screen, but, when I look in to the “Task manager” under “Processes” PARTICLEILLUSION.EXE is listed there!
Any advise on this one?

End the process, then in your Start menu program group for pI, run Reset Default Settings, then run pI again. That’s worked for me any time I’ve had any similar hiccup.

I’m hoping I’ve posted this before, but there is a known problem that may cause this:
If you exit particleIllusion 3 (for Windows only) when the main window Preview window background color is set to “image”, it won’t start up (although it usually gives you one of the Windows “this program has caused an error…” message windows).
The only way to fix it (in 3.0.1a) is to “reset default settings”.
