a blocker stops the particles from showing in that box(or whatever shape)…
So is there a way so that a blocker(or sonmthing) ONLY shows whats in the box(or shape) ? nothing else but that

if that does not exist I would want that to show up the the next update.

This would be useful for putting emmiters on TVs and out windows and such

    Thank you

Look under Layers under Tutorial 4 in the Help file and check out Stencil. It doesn’t reverse a blocker, but it allows you to use a background’s alpha channel to place the particles in a certain of the screen and nowhere else.

Why don’t you just use multiple blockers? 4 rectangular blockers can easily be placed so that a “hole” is left in the middle.

the problem I found with multiple blockers was that if the camera moves just a little, then you have to move 4 blockers -vs- just one. and thats annoying

I think I have similar situation. I have “blocked” around a guy with his hands on his hips facing the camera. I am unable to unblock the areas under his arms.
