I had the same problem but was using an earlier version a couple of months ago before the camera was released publicly – transcoded it all to ProRes and graded with that – not ideal but under time constraints even though its supposed to work when it does not its a quick fix..hopefully the latest version works for you?!

I have a MacPro 12-core w/32GB (4x 8GB DIMMs)but not sure how much my system may be negatively effected by this. I would add 2 more DIMMs if i knew for sure that it would make specific substantial differences..

Just to be sure here, all i did was import the project and hit play for each version..not adjusting any project or playback settings or is there something i need to know in order to do this test correctly?

    V1 2 nodes : 24 fps
    V2 4 nodes : 24 fps
    V3 6 nodes : 24 fps
    V4 12 nodes : 12.5 fps
    V5 NR 4 : 24 fps
    V6 NR 4 : 19 fps
    V7 NR 4 : 10 fps
    V8 NR 4 : 3 fps

I plan to upgrade to a 580 or 680 in order to maximize performance on my MacPro and allow for rendering beyond 2k as well which is not possible because of the low ram on my current 470.

Thank you for posting this up!

Curious how it will compare to the 3GB 580 card for MacPro use.
