Hey Ryan,

Sorry for not being clearer. See below link for grabs of my QT7, Compressor and ME settings. So with the first apple apps when i do the compression i get very nice results, with those settings. I am just trying to get same file size and quality with matching settings in Media Encoder.

I know I am missing something here just hoping its a check box. I also find similar results with Handbrake but would like to start incorporating ME if its good because of GPU use its a little faster than Compressor threading and qt7. I have tried dialing the quality slider around on different exports but no luck getting it to match the size and quality of those apple apps.

Mine works fine as well as far as I can tell…and I just upgraded to latest desktop video beta version which seems to longer cause issues w/ fcp7 & resolve …at least in the week I’ve been using desktop 10.

Previously I was stuck on the last version of desktop video 9 because of the fcp7 crash issue and a Resolve10 crash issue. This is in osx 10.8.5 btw, conversely on another ssd boot drive i loaded the latest Mavericks just to test the waters…the nvidida gpu # restriction keeps me from making the move over at least for now in that I have Titans.

I am on R11.0 public now and seeing some funky hangs during quit as well as a number of other things, but I think it just takes time to really iron out the kinks. I sent my drp’s, capture logs, screen recordings, etc so its all well documented for the team at bmd – no doubt it will be checkout a fixed. I’ll be curious to see how Yosemite plays with my rig.

Yup same problem for me here in R11.0 – Intuos 5 medium / 6.3.8-2

Also have the new wacom desktop center app thingy as well which i guess helps. I have actually experienced better performance and faster response on start up. That being said, in R11 trying to adjust for example the Highlights adjustment it just jumps crazy to 0 grey.

PR because h.264 functions really poorly in Resolve and many a post-production application.

Don’t use the GT120 only use TITAN for GUI/GPU. That 120 is crippling your setup.
