How I would do it is use bonjour 3-d solving. Once you have your tracking data, you can “simply” create all your special effects around that.

    take the bonjour tracking

and then apply the iron man Head up display to the tracking data

virtual mem should be set on diff hard drive and also diff motherboard cable than Windows OS, a good rule of thumb is min 1.5x ram, max 3x ram, although system managed size is supposed to increase automatically if needed, you might be low on hard drive space. right click system properties-advanced to see where it saves the virtual swap file and manually enter number/change to another drive as needed.

They purposely lost detail with heavy contrast and gamma smoosh then b/w and a Fill color from presets, not tritone. You can tell because there’s no color shades, just one solid color.

use photoshops’ Adobe gamma in control panel, adjust each red, green, blue, and save the icm file at gamma 1.8(mac) or 2.2(win) gamma, then setup AE with color management.

you need to give your project’s Working Space a color profile in order to use a color managed workflow (this includes simulated outputs). You can do this in Project Settings (cmd-opt-shift-k on Mac, ctrl-alt-shift-k on PC).

Each file has an interpret color management plus AE has blend color, legacy colors, etc. all these plus you need the exact same codec versions, gamma calibrated monitor…

plus how you are viewing them back out. Quicktime player preferences could be different too. Use your scopes rather. Do a full render-loop, export/import file, with no color changes, there should be no change in gamma. That way tests for a correct color management setup.

The artifacts need to be deartifacted with magic bullet deartifactor or one built into a keyer such as primatte. Next time I suggest a grey shirt, bright red over bright green highly compressed doesn’t work in the dv and the NTSC world.

I checked out the source image and its definately a spill issue, work with the spill settings, transparency, shrink matte. And I suggest separate keys for the white areas. A fast oval junk matte would probably take less time then tweaking it to death though.

Perhaps you could upload a high quality PNG and I could take a looksee. I know primate has spill killer, spill sponge, I think keylight has something similar where it actually applies the opposite color to hide it.
