Yeah I completely agree with you. It is just that I have been experiencing major irregularities with this system. I had hoped that all of them had been ironed out, but one of our techs did some work on this station and this audio issue appeared. His responce was that it didn’t matter what card was being used, they all would push all of the audio out to the deck. I am just trying to make sure that this is true and the issue is not linked to a greater issue that might come into play the next time I edit to tape.
What Card do you use and do you know if the same condition exist? -
Yeah, but does FCP block other audio from being pushed out by the card?

yeah both of the Techs looked at me like it was a crazy concept. They said basically that it would be forcing asemble edit. I will wait until they leave the room and give it a shot. Thanks.
