I have two P2 Cards, I only take them out to offload through my Dual-adapter. After using them I put them back into the camera, and close the hatch for safe keeping. ‘Been doing this for over a year and never have had any problems.

Thank you all for your responses. To clear up, when I asked about if its a scam, I didn’t mean the class itself, obviously you will learn something and I will probably be taking the advanced course to polish my skills. However I wanted to know if it was worth the extra money to actually take the test and get that certificate, and if it is actually worth anything. By your responses it seems not so much, unless you do not have any real world experience. Any other comments?

Thank you for your input John, I would like to hear some other responses if anyone has any other input?

  • A simple trick I use, (if the object does not have green edges) is to copy the video track and put it ontop of the keyed track, then crop out and/or garbage matte everything but the green part of the object. This works well if someone decides to be a pain and where a green tie, or a product has a green part of its label, however if your are trying to key out a watermelon you will be in trouble.

What John said is probably the best way to do it. I still would recommend elgato’s program if you are going to be doing this alot. It does this same thing faster.

Export as an H.264 file with AAC Audio, as quicktime conversion. Then change the file extension to .flv. This works flawlessly! If you will be doing this alot I would recommend the el Gato TurboHD, its a USB drive you plug into your computer and contains a program that pumps out H.264 files very fast! I use it all the time, all of my editing online and put them into flash this way.

    edit:

Here is a link to the product-
