Look at the back of the hand.. and the reflection on the red chair and the vertical piece to the left of the door. they look kinda pinged out.

I too have seen this behavior. I noticed that I cannot drag the controls at all. Note that a mouse with a scroll wheel did continue to move the slider but. It a drag operation.
At least that is what I find. Seems go happen randomly. Also like the poster above the autocolor randomly does nothing.

Correct me if i’m wrong but I was under the impression that the whole idea of using Aces workflow was to try and get all the different camera formats into a common color space with a similar look and feel based on the Input transforms then making sure that when you select your output transform you don’t lose anything in the process. This whole idea was a way to have a consistency that wasn’t available up till now.
it does a good job so far for those apps that support the workflow when handing off stuff back and forth with other apps that are ACES aware.

  • NOTE: This is also coming out at some point.. No word on if Davinci will support it but looks interesting.

  • DOH I figured it out. Need to do it on the node before not the actual layer node itself.

Could you have some clips that don’t have enough footage for that?
Wonder if that could trip it up on a clip with less then 50frame on either end?

  • The ATI board I use has 2 outs. I have dual monitors on that and nothing on the Quadro 4000 board.
5750 ATI i believe is the standard recommendation on the mac pro.

SO we should maybe set processing to full and then work in legal scaled then output “legal scaled” setting on more then not for Broadcast at this point?
Does this also clip to legal things like DPX that in the past always output full range data?

Totally agree! I was looking for this a while back.. It would really help with shot revision on dailies! Im surprised it isn’t in there. Clients always refer to shots when grading if they can make shot notes you can just jump right to it and off you go. Having said that I would love to have the ability to like hit cap locks or something and then type in a shot number on the keypad! Or use the numlock or scroll lock keys to trigger node numbers i.e jump to node 8 or something.
