is it okay to use 2 gui monitors for internal scope ?
Posted by Tj Kim on October 20, 2011 at 4:03 pmIn order to use 2 gui monitor, one for internal scope, I have to set up one monitor connectied from ATI 5770 and another one from Nvidea Quadro 4000.
Is that going to slow down resolve?Omar Godinez replied 14 years, 6 months ago 5 Members · 5 Replies -

October 20, 2011 at 6:07 pmThe ATI board I use has 2 outs. I have dual monitors on that and nothing on the Quadro 4000 board.
5750 ATI i believe is the standard recommendation on the mac pro.

October 20, 2011 at 6:24 pmYou should not plug any monitors into the GPU for Resolve only the GUI card. Most GFX cards have two DVI ports these days even the GT120 will support two displays if one is display port or with an adapter.

October 20, 2011 at 8:05 pmThe ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics card includes two Mini DisplayPort outputs and a dual-link DVI port. It supports three displays. You need to purchase and additional Mini DisplayPort adapter for around $30USD.
