Did you change the camera recording mode to the same as the clip you are trying to playback off the cam/card?

Are you viewing an interlaced clip playing back on a comp. screen?
Interlaced footage is best viewed on an external broadcast monitor.Try deinterlacing your wmv as it’s going to be played back on a comp.

If you’re only going to Vimeo – then shoot 1280X720_60 on the camera.
Use a canon plug-in to L&T your files from the hard drive into FCP, set the prefs to convert on ingest using ProResHQ codec.
Edit.
Export using “Current Settings”
Compress for Vimeo using the app compressor.Read up on their site the best submission format, they give you the specs.

Audio is not recorded in frame rates.
