I’ve always believed if a company (or someone) pays me to shoot something for them, they own the footage. They ahve paid for it.

I have handed over the raw footage on more then one occasion, most of the time no. However, I always charged a fee for the master tapes.
He paid you to shoot. You did. He wants the camera tapes.

Charge $15. a tape and give em to him.

Start Here: 1440×1080/29.97fps

Use that sequence.
Drop the others in and it will be fine.

The JVC records Long-Gop to SD cards.

The 370 shoots to P2.

The DVD is 720×480 SD
U’d be best to rip it to a DV 50 file.
Edit it in a DV50 Sequence. Letter boxed.

You capture the footage off the camera via FW.

You can convert with compressor with marginal results.
Nattress has a pug-in that I read good things about.
Maybe include the PAL clips with the new NTSC clips as another option for the receivers.
