May 23, 2011 at 1:39 pmYou’re a little late to the party, Rafael… Conduit has been around for several years now. It’s been mentioned occasionally in this forum.
You’re right – it is indeed amazing, and very reasonable priced. While it’s not a simple one-button click program that everyone will appreciate, anyone who’s familiar with node-based compositing will appreciate having a tool that works right within FCP. It’s not a Shake replacement, nor is it meant to be, but it’s great to be able to get under the hood and build your own keyer or perform other compositing operations without leaving the application
Conduit just keeps getting better, and Conduit Live is a pretty unique tool for doing realtime on-set comp previews.

Check out the downloads section for some great tutorials – Alex Lindsay is a great teacher.

May 23, 2011 at 7:28 pmHi Alan,
I’ve just made a SEARCH, and I can’t believe that there are so little references about “Conduit”.
If I’ve read anything about, probably I haven’t paid attention, because most references are about “Keying, what is not much of my interest.
I really can’t believe so little info and curiosity about this wonder.
If this app has inner filters of the quality of SHAKE, this is the tool to do things like re-sizing in FC.Nodes just requires an spatial vision of Components works and how to build a logic pipeline.
Once you get the use of compositing using nodes, you don’t want layer based system anymore.
