You need to render out frame size and rate and fields to MATCH your FCP sequence.

Is the watermark file RGB and not cmyk?
Also, why not make the TC red or something so you don’t need the black box.

It used to be, and I don’t know if it still holds true, but Computers did not like – dashes, . periods, / slashes in file names.
Using the_underscore was the wise way to do things. It’s a habit I developed in the mid 90’s and still use them_today.
This would be a good question for the OS boards

It sounds like you have a dying hard drive.
If you cannot run a repair on it, it might be gone for good.
Always backup files b/c drives will fail.Can you try a new drive?

Try trashing prefs.
Repairing Permissions.
Rebooting.

The flickering will happen with SD-DV on small details. You can minimize them by encoding at the best quality.
Export to AME from the APP Sequence:
Some of this depends on your program length. The longer the video the lower the data rate needs to be to fit on the disc and play smooth.

Just use the compressor pre-sets for Bluray and you’ll be fine.
Go higher on the bit rate as your program is short and you do not have to try and fit a long program on a disc.Chris Tompkins
