Hello, I posted this in the Compression Forum but haven’t heard anything, so I thought I would try here.

I’m about ready to pull out my hair. I have a black bar that is a .png file that I am trying to use in Compressor, as a Watermark in order to lay the TC Generator on top of it so the time code can easily be read.

Using the Small Web Movie template from which to build my setting, every time I try and compress something with the TC Generator and the Watermark, it ends up failing with an error message that says 3x crash service down.

I believe its the .png file that is causing the error because it will compress fine w/o it, even with the TC Generator still on. I have also tried making the file .tiff and .jpeg and still it fails.

We are connected to an edit share and I have tried to compress both locally and to the server.

So, does anybody have any suggestions? And no I can’t throw the computer out the window…I already checked. 🙂

Is the watermark file RGB and not cmyk?

Also, why not make the TC red or something so you don’t need the black box.

    OR

    Get Episode to do it.
