don’t use proxy.
Go 720p – it’ll still look good.

Are you viewing interlaced footage on a computer screen? This will not display correctly. You need an external broadcast monitor to properly view interlaced footage.

Also, capturing HDV via fw is a straight transfer of data, it will not degrade the image at all. If it’s a little fuzzy it’s outta focus when shot.

Sequence settings match clip settings?

The way it’s set up is the Prst button can be set to: 32k or 56k you choose.

Now, you can set up one of the user buttons for Auto White – so so do that.

These are your choices…

Right now, and it will change, BMD and AJA i/o cards will Support APP.
Maxtrox does too, I think, I donno.

Like he said, use the Animation Codec but match everything else.

1920×1080 24p or 30p or what ever your fps is.
Drop in above your video. Render.
