What you have here is a potentially complex tracking problem. You need to track the band so that you can make your lights follow. Not seeing your footage, my assumption would be that there is 3D motion going on with your subject, ie. turning, which makes matters even more complex.
If you want to try tracking inside FCP take a look at Mocha. This whole procedure though is a bit advanced.
But, there’s also the painstaking method of manually moving your lights, and if they are blinking in some way, that would give you little windows of “cheat” time. So it would be relatively easy.

What’s more important than “what” you are is “how good” your are, and assuming you are very good, your title should be something like “King of the Universe.”

So many ways to do this, including the resident filters in QuickTime Pro. But my favorite is the Nattress G film set, infinately adjustable and very good.

In my experience, Title 3D has trouble with lots of fonts open at once on your system. Shut them down and see what happens.

Under System Settings, you select the folder to which your capture scratch and render files go, among other things. Most people here keep their projects on their boot drives and all their media and render files on selected folders on the media drives. No one that I know keeps all this stuff in one folder.

How in the world is a PDF file not “green?” It would take Apple a few minutes to make a PDF which is a totally reasonable expectation of a company that’s charging 300 bucks for yet another costly upgrade. How would that damage their carbon footprint?

It sounds like your settings are pretty clearly mapped out, you should be able to get a decent H264 QT from QuickTime Pro, otherwise use Episode.
