Well, the whole LCD question is still up in the air, but it still will cost upwards of $2000 to get a decent one, and then you have to tweak the hell out of it to get it close.
So no, it’s not as easy as going down to Best Buy and buying a Sony Bravia. You really need some kind of ref monitor to get your colors close, then you can use something like a Panasonic plasma for clients to look at, but it takes a lot of tweaking.
